Assessments

Our team have proficiency in using a diverse approach, thus giving our clients choices as follows:

  • Chance's Parenting Assessment Framework (CPAF)

  • Parent Assess

  • Parenting Assessment Manual (PAM) and

  • Cubas

All our assessments are evidence-based and align with the "Framework for Assessing Children in Need and Their Families.' We focus on delivering assessments that reflect each case's unique complexities.

Central to Chance's Parenting Assessment Framework is incorporating our 'Knowledge, Quality, and Consistency' (KQC) framework, which enhances our understanding of parenting skills in a practical, real-world context.

Using the KQC approach allows our family practitioners and assessors to have a consistent approach to assessing parents' knowledge about their children's specific needs, the quality of their parenting practices, and the consistency of their caregiving.
